March family to fight son’s blindness with a bike ride across the United States.

Last night at church the pastor invited James and Bubba up on stage to talk about Bubba and his challenges, both RP and the bike ride.  Bubba was so nervous but he did an AWESOME job!!!!  At the end of their talk, the church gave them a standing ovation, so amazing!  We met some nice families and even one who has RP and is now going to keep in contact with Bubba and he’s 22 yrs old so they have somethings in common.

We are Frigo’s Big Challenge, trying to bring awareness to others about Retinitis Pigmentosa, RP.  Our son, Bubba, 18 was diagnosed with this a yr and half ago.  This eye disease has no cure/treatment and leaves the person with little to no vision remaining.  Right now Bubba and his dad, James Sr. are training to ride their bicycles across America to raise awareness and funds for the Foundation Fighting Blindness in hopes to find a cure/treatment.  If you can help, please do so at
